Home repairs, mama cats and kittens- OH MY!

When I tell you I’ve been meaning to blog but just forget to get around to it because of a million other moving parts- I mean it this time! We’ve been having our roof worked on for going on the second week… we had a window sized hole in our mom’s bathroom, black mold in the living ceiling and 13 kittens in our cattery. These last two weeks have been a lot… but here’s a quick update!

-Hailey’s baby got weaned off the first weekend in May. One kitten got mysteriously sick and almost passed away… then Mama Hailey got a debilitating fever caused by mastitis that were still helping her heal from…

-We had a booth at our community’s Spring Fling and 10 out of the 14 puppies we brought our got adopted!!

-We did get $54 in donations during the Spring Fling which helped us buy more kitten formula and food for the mama cats. Thank you!

-We took in a new mama cat from my brother’s apartment complex. Miss Luna and her 6 babies born just a week ago. They’re all adjusting well and half of them already have forever homes to go to when they get weaned off !

-Our home repairs have grown into quite the nightmare… but we keep on chugging along because what other choice do we have, right?

We like to say that we help these sweet animals because we have so much love to give … and we do! But lately, it’s been hard to keep putting one foot in front of the other with as many obstacles as we’re facing at the moment.

Thank you for continuing to support us in our journey to save the world one animal at a time- it means the world to us! If you’re wondering how you can help, I’ll add a little info-bit below. Thank you again!
