We used LegalZoom as our filing service and we’ve been nothing but overjoyed with how easy it was to use them for our 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization formation!

With your continued support and enthusiasm for our Animal Rescue, we are happy to announce that the IRS now recognizes Ray’s Animal Planet Inc as a tax exempt Nonprofit Organization! This will help us receive a more steady stream of assistance from companies who issue grants to nonprofits and allow us to continue to help animals in need! We still cannot believe this is official!

When we received our Letter of Determination from the IRS, I couldn’t help but miss our sweet Raymond- the rescue that started it all 12 years ago. We had to say goodbye to him 2 years ago due to cancer… it was always going to be Raymond who’s goodbye would break my heart. And it did. Yet somehow, 2 years later, we’re still helping animals in need! We just know that Raymond would be so proud of us and our achievements in his name.
